Requesting an accessible file

If you work in disability services, assistive technology, or an alternate media office, you can request an accessible digital file of any Supercritical Books title for a student or reader with a documented print disability. We are glad to provide one.

Write to us at accessibility@supercriticalbooks.com from your institutional address and include:

• The book title and ISBN
• Your name, role, and institution
• The format that works best for you

Formats

We recommend EPUB. It reflows for magnification and carries real heading structure, which makes screen-reader navigation far better than a scanned or typeset page.

We can also supply a PDF of the print interior, and we may be able to prepare a Word document if that is what your workflow needs. Tell us if an email attachment or a download link suits your systems better.

Some of our titles exist in more than one edition. If page references matter for a course, say so and we will work out which file matches the copy in front of your reader.

Readers writing directly

If you have a print disability and no office is acting for you, write to us anyway at accessibility@supercriticalbooks.com. We would rather hear from you and work out what is possible than have you go without the book.

We work to make this site readable with a keyboard, a screen reader, and at whatever text size you need. We do not claim it is perfect.
